Instead of planning gardens around the buildings, we have planned the buildings around the gardens !
We have 4 large gardens at AFV all of which contribute to its unique, fragrant and health giving atmosphere

We received the idea of creating these Gardens while reading lines from Sri Aurobindo's epic poem Savitri :
Earth shall be my work-chamber and my house,
My garden of life to plant a seed divine.
The Spirit’s eyes shall look through Nature’s eyes,
The Spirit’s force shall occupy Nature’s force.
This world shall be God’s visible garden-house,
The earth shall be a field and camp of God,
1. Garden of the Soul
Pursuing this inspiration, the Garden of the Soul shall house trees and plants, which have been given the Spiritual significance related to the Soul by The Mother.
Currently, "Psychic work" stands tall and proud at the Centre of this Garden.
2. Garden of the Spirit
This Garden has the dual theme of The Four Aspects of the Divine Mother and the Five Elements.
It will have flowers connected with these aspects : Integral Wealth of Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswati's perfection in Works alongside 'Light', 'Air', 'Fire' !
Imagine standing amidst a feast of white and fragrant flowers like Jasmine and Night Queen!
3. Garden of Psychological Perfection
This garden ushers the morning Sun into AFV with the most spectacular and carefully hand-picked varieties of Champas, the only flower for which Mother had named each of the 5 petals :
Sincerity, Faith, Aspiration, Devotion, Surrender.
4. Garden in the Skies
The horizon of the 360 degrees of thick and lush treetops all around the roof tops of Auroma French Villaments is a spectacle so vast that it cannot be imprisoned in words.
Imagine standing here on a full moon night with the silhouette of these trees against the soft moonlight !
All terraces at Auroma French Villaments have been designed so that its residents can create Gardens in the Skies ! - kitchen gardens and flower farms right above their own roofs :)
